It was a good experience to this point

Wonderful store, wonderful employees, and owners that are right there to help you with whatever you need. They have a wide selection of appliances, tools, and lawn and garden supplies. If they don't have it in store they do their best to find it for you.

This store has a little bit for everybody, and the people here are very friendly and very helpful

Very poor customer service. I posted this once before, but apparently it wasn't acceptable by those running this site. We will never shop this location again, and after our conversation with the regional sales manager, we will not shop Sears period. Just recently we did business with Lowe's regarding appliances and talk about a complete difference. It appears Lowe's valued us as customers while this Sears store did not (and our purchased at Sears was around $1500)... my suggestion to anyone in the Village area, buy elsewhere unless you don't care how you are treated.

Worst customer service there is. A family member bought us a washing machine which we noticed was not washing our clothes properly due to it being he and not using enough water. Not their fault at all, just a crappy machine. So we decided to return it and buy something else. I had every intention to go in the store and just exchange it for a better washing machine. I called and was told to come in to find the one we wanted to exchange it for. I get there and the owner tells me how awful the washing machine is that we have and that he wouldn't even recommend it...but he obviously did or my family member would not have bought it! I guarantee if they were told the machine doesn't work, they would have purchased something different and we wouldn't have had this issue at all. So the owner sits there and tells me how awful this machine is and how he wouldn't recommend it to anyone yet he still sells it in his store! Why?! It makes no sense. After he said that I decided I would take my business elsewhere and just return the washer so he was going to charge me $80 for them to pick it up! Ridiculous considering it only cost $40 for it to be dropped off. Thankfully his wife has a little bit of common sense and decided not to charge me the $80 even though they had already lost my business at this point. Definitely not happy with their customer service and I know I'm not the only one who's had issues here. I will never recommend this place to anyone again.
